5 sheets 20.3 x 25.4 cm of 280g/m2 natural white printmaking paper, suitable for all types of  printmaking including intaglio. Acid free, soft, durable and absorbent with a medium-textured surface. Contains high alphacellulose wood fibre.
 
For intaglio printing (drypoint or etching) and for embossing, the paper should be cut or torn to size and then soaked in water for 10 minutes or so and stored between sheets of paper towel to keep it damp ready for printing. This softens the paper, ensuring that the printing press can  push the paper into contact with the ink in the recesses of the printing plate. If necessary, weight the prints under heavy books to flatten them.
