From the beginning of June until the end of October, when LaPaletta is open and the weather is nice, we set up a small outside space for art-making in the covered area in front of the shop. There's no instruction included - just the freedom to create!

The Outdoor Studio is equipped with aprons and a trolley full of kid-friendly materials (also enjoyed by adults) including poster paint, watercolours, markers, crayons, stickers, washi tapes, chalks, collage papers, rubber stamps, etc. Acrylic paints are also available on request, but should probably be kept out of the hands of younger children as they will not wash off clothing once dry.

Come in to the shop and choose a project (list and prices below), then head back outside and complete your masterpiece using the materials from the trolley. You can leave your work at LaPaletta to pick up later if you like (especially handy if it needs to dry - but we do have a dryer to speed things up if necessary). We can also spray your finished paintings and drawings to protect them from smudging.

The Outdoor Studio is open to all ages, but please stay with young children all the time as we aren't able to supervise them and are likely to be busy with other customers.

Use of the Outdoor Studio is on a first-come, first served basis and you can stay as long as you are working on a project purchased at LaPaletta. The Outdoor Studio cannot be reserved in advance.
